You will meet a wonderful person! The Greeters are Toulousains who are passionate about their city and meeting others.
They volunteer to share their perspective on the city with travellers from around the world, giving you an alternative experience inspired by a faraway idea!
Toulouse is a municipality in south-western France. Capital of the Visigothic Kingdom in the 5th century, today it is the administrative capital of the Occitanie region and Haute-Garonne department, as well as the headquarters of Toulouse Métropole.

We were delighted with the tour we took with Carole. It was interesting and enjoyable to have her show us little corners and aspects of her neighbourhood—almost without us noticing 😉 The time flew by. She also gave us excellent advice about a small cultural venue, the Théâtre du Grand Rond, where we saw a fantastic concert that very evening! The next time I visit a city I do not know, I will definitely contact a Greeter again. Many thanks for making these encounters and conversations possible 🙂

Everyone agreed: a very enjoyable and original day that opened our eyes to captivating and intriguing street art. ‘We are not used to looking up and appreciating these paintings in detail!’ they said at the end of the walk. So bravo to our Greeters, and we will certainly see you again!
