The Greeters aim to show visitors staying for a day or longer what, in their eyes, makes the Porte Océane unique. Far from being a conventional guided tour—more historical, documented and precise—it is a journey of discovery and a way for Greeters to share their own perception of the city. The visitor steps into the role of a friend, while the Greeter enjoys sharing the city’s evolution, favourite addresses and places, sometimes well off the beaten track.
