Discover the Pays d’Iroise with a local resident

In the Pays d’Iroise, above all we are passionate about our area. At a time when mass tourism is disfiguring too many places, we remain keenly aware of its authenticity. We simply want to share this preserved and still somewhat secret setting with everyone wishing to discover or rediscover its historic and unusual sides. There are six of us Greeters in the Pays d’Iroise, all sharing this spirit of welcome and exchange. Each has their own personality and interests, but together we complement one another. We look forward to your visit in any season, so we can walk together and introduce you to this land, its treasures past and present, and its landscapes, continually renewed by ocean conditions.

Where is the Pays d’Iroise?

At the westernmost tip of Finistère, west of Brest and facing the Molène archipelago and the island of Ouessant, the Iroise includes must-see places such as Le Conquet and Portsall. Bordered by the GR®34 long-distance trail, it is a hiker’s paradise and Brittany in concentrated form: lighthouses, fine sandy beaches, islands, sea air, intense emotions, colours and a deep sense of belonging await you at the end of the world!
