You are graciously invited to discover Boulogne-Billancourt, on a walk with a local, at the gates of the capital, the largest city in Île-de-France after Paris. A city rich in cultural treasures, such as the famous Albert Kahn museum and its gardens, the museum that houses works from the 1930s; the houses or buildings designed by the great architects of that time: Le Corbusier, Mallet Stevens, Perret, Fisher; a city that has many different gardens; a city over six centuries old, whose traces can still tell the story of yesterday.

We are southwest of Paris in Île-de-France. The municipality of Boulogne-Billancourt is adjacent to the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Paris-Boulogne is crossed by 2 lines of the Paris metro, lines 9 and 10.

We are volunteer residents of Boulogne, members of the International Greeters Association. We want to share « our Boulogne » with visitors, just as we would for friends. We are neither tour guides nor certified speakers, but curious residents, passionate about the riches of our city, some of whom speak several languages, and are eager to meet and welcome people passing through Boulogne-Billancourt. Thanks to the quality of our Greeter's comments and their excellent knowledge of the city, I discovered a city whose architectural richness I was unaware of, even though I live just a few kilometers away.
