Greeters are residents who are passionate about their area and delighted to volunteer their time to share their favourite places, anecdotes and personal view of the destination. They are not professional guides, but people who love where they live and act as ambassadors for a sincere and welcoming Normandy. With them, venture off the beaten track: stroll through the streets to discover the Belle Époque villas of Bagnoles, admire the remarkable trees in the arboretum of the château-town hall park, explore village lanes and hedged-country paths, or learn about local traditions. Every walk is an encounter, a conversation and an invitation to experience the area differently.
Signé Bocage is the new brand for the area in the west of the Orne department, in southern Normandy. Its hedged farmland and forests surround the renowned spa and tourist resort of Bagnoles de l’Orne Normandie and the medieval town of Domfront en Poiraie. Between the medieval town perched on its rocky promontory and the elegant spa resort, unique in western France, the destination reveals an intimate, authentic and deeply restorative Normandy.

April 2025 Very good! The meeting was arranged quickly and the meeting point was easy to find. The walk was very enjoyable, showing how the place evolved into a lively resort and how a neighbourhood full of Belle Époque villas developed. It was interesting to see their distinctive differences. We are very satisfied because we now know Bagnoles de l’Orne much better.
