Loix, a peninsula within Île de Ré, is a village in a preserved and authentic setting. This village with its rich heritage can be reached along a beautiful road through the salt marshes, or more slowly and closer to nature via its cycle paths.
The Greeters—passionate residents who volunteer their time—will meet you and, during a free visit, share the characteristic places, hidden treasures, customs and anecdotes that bring their village to life.
Île de Ré lies off the western coast of France, midway along the Atlantic seaboard, off Charente-Maritime and south of the Vendée, opposite the port of La Rochelle
