AVIGNON - PROVENCE

COME FOR A WALK WITH A LOCAL
Pont d’Avignon © Henk Monster

A walk in Avignon Provence with one of its residents, a Greeter

Avignon in Provence, its international theatre festival, the Palais des Papes, its ramparts, its bridge (the Pont d’Avignon!), its river, and Provence with its vineyards and lavender fields… Yes! But there is much more… Come and discover, with a resident—a local—a city and a region open to the world, rich in history and in landscapes stretching from the Sorgues to Mont Ventoux, with narrow streets and squares shaded by plane trees, the sound of cicadas and Provence’s incomparable blue sky. An atmosphere to share in good company!
The Greeters welcome you. They may not know everything, but they know a great deal about where they live and will find the right places for you, based on your cultural, artistic, sporting… and culinary interests.
Come for a stroll, look around and breathe it all in!
